In the many days I sat alone, after moving to another new country, not knowing how to deal with my culture shock, I watched a lot of wonderful old movies. My favourite actress was Audrey Hepburn, not for her acting or her fashion sense, but the person she was out of the box.
I admired anyone who lived through Nazi occupation in the Netherlands, and had nothing hateful to say. There was something so admirable and brilliant about her. It didn’t hurt that she was absolutely stunning and had the most amazing sense of style.
“The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy – it’s all that matters.” – Audrey Hepburn
